Landscape Rock Removal

We remove landscape rock from residential and commercial beds, side yards, and parking strips. Smaller areas get cleared with square-nose shovels, larger ones with a skid steer, and everything is hauled off in a dump trailer. We also pull up the old landscape fabric and sod staples underneath, so the ground is ready for soil, sod, or new rock.

Landscape Rock Replacement

If your rock beds have faded, sunk, or filled with weeds, we strip out the old rock and fabric, lay fresh woven landscape fabric, and spread new rock evenly with a landscape rake. Choose a new rock type or size, or we can match what you already have. If the old border has heaved or bent, we reset it or add new steel edging.

Landscape Rock Installation

We build new rock beds on bare ground. We grade the base, tamp it firm with a plate compactor, lay landscape fabric, and spread decorative rock, lava rock, or crushed granite to an even depth.

Gravel and River Rock Removal

We clear pea gravel, crushed gravel, and river rock from beds, paths, and driveways with shovels, a landscape rake, and wheelbarrows. Where rock has worked its way into the dirt, we sift the soil out.

Boulder Removal

We lift and haul away landscape boulders with a mini excavator or skid steer. Where machines can't reach, we use a pry bar and boulder dolly. Then we backfill and level the hole.

How Much Does Landscape Rock Removal Cost?

Landscape rock removal usually costs $640 to $3,850 for a typical residential job. Price depends mostly on how many square feet of beds you have, how deep the rock is, and whether a skid steer can get to the area. Dump fees and pulling up old landscape fabric add to the total as well.
